Undergrad IU Kelley vs ND Mendoza

I’ve recently narrowed down my choices for next year to the Kelley school of business and the Mendoza college of business. At Kelley I received a full ride and at ND received 42K with of assistance a year (would still come out with around 30K worth of debt a year). They are both ranked 10 for their undergrad business programs but ND definitely has more prestige. I’m not really sure and was wondering other people’s experiences and opinions. Thanks!

You can’t borrow 30k total on your own, let alone each year for four years. You would need a co-signer, or your parents would need to borrow that money for you. There is no undergraduate degree in any subject at any college or university in the US that is worth $120k of debt.

Go to Kelley. Avoid the debt.

Aren’t your parents helping pay for college? Or do they want you to go to Kelley?
You cannot borrow 30K, you can borrow 5.5K for freshman year, period, and that may already have been packaged into your ND financial aid package - check.
If your parents won’t help, then you have a really very good alternative with Kelley IU - MANY MANY students right now wish they were in your shoes.

I personally think that, if you are a top student, the opportunities at Kelley allow you to go as far or farther than attending Mendoza.
