Undergrad majors that are the most beneficial to attending law school

I am currently a senior in high school and I have already recieved acceptances from NC STATE and HOWARD and I'm still waiting on a few more universities. As of now I plan on attending NC STATE since it's in-state and the tuition is far more cheaper than my other choices. I know its really early to be thinking about law school but I want to get an excellent head start and guidance when it comes to admittance to law schools because I unfortunately did not have the same guidance and determination when entering high school. This time around I want to attend a top university for law school so I should definitely start early.

So the main question is, when applying for law school and when taking the LSAT, which majors do you view as the most beneficial in preparing you for the LSAT and Law School. It has come to my attention that pre-law and any other legal studies are actually not the best route to take.

Anything but pre-law

A liberal arts major will serve you best. Take some classes in different departments, and just major in whichever one interests you most. The law schools are typically indifferent between the majors.

However, you might be well-served if you also take a few philosophy courses. They typically offer 2-3 courses in logic which may help you understand the LSAT a bit more. (You definitely don’t need to major in philosophy to get this benefit)
