Undergrad Situation

Hey guys, I have a somewhat odd situation and was wondering if you could help out. Despite having good stats (3.8 and 32 ACT) my parents want me to start out (at least) at Baylor due to its baptist/conservative reputation. My long term goal is to get into a T14 law school, and I was wondering if it would be better to stick with Baylor Honors for four years or transfer after two to the best ranked school I could get into (risking getting a lower GPA at a top ranked school)? Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

Note: this was also posted in the Baylor forum.

From what I’ve read, the undergrad school doesn’t matter all that much in law school admissions- within reason. (Don’t go to the bottom of the fourth tier if you don’t have to) Just do very well at whatever school you’re in.

Doesn’t matter, but don’t let your parents make you go to a school you don’t want to.

wherever you get your bachelor’s from doesn’t matter. just make sure to keep as high a GPA as you possibly can.
