Undergrad student looking to transfer

Hey guys I really need some help right now, I am currently going to a community college, sfc (mcc) and I would like to know my chances of getting into a university. The only 2 universities that I would consider going to are Usf Tampa and ucf Orlando.

However as of right now I only have 18 credit hours, I'm in my 3rd semester and i don't want to go to this community college anymore. I feel like I've let my parents down. My gpa as of now is 2.33. I'm retaking 2 classes an hopefully I can get a atleast a 3.0 or close.. Do you think I have a shot? When should I apply? Also I got 1320 on SAT and 23 on ACT. my highschool gpa was 2.898.

First off… Your college education is about you. You didn’t let your parents down. Your best shot at getting into one of those schools is to get your AA degree first. I have a 3.5 GPA and over 80 credits… I tried to transfer but they want the AA. FL also has a statewide law that connects the FL public community colleges with FL universities… And if you have your AA from a FL cc then you are eligible for admission into a university… I wouldn’t apply now… Keep taking classes and get your AA first. Good luck and remember, just because you go to a university doesn’t mean that makes you a better or smarter person…

How long did it take yu to get 60+ credit hours? So I just stay here? :\ it’s my 3rd semester here and some of my friends from hs are already leaving, if I do get my AA first can I still be turned down?
