Undergraduate in the UK?

Is going to college abroad recommended for someone right out high school? Can you give me some differences/similarities and pros/cons?

The basic dfference is that in the Uk you study only the subjet (or combination of two, very occasionally three) subjects. No gen ed requirements, no electives in other areas. That’s a plus fo some, a minus for others. Basically it suits people who are already focussed on what they want to study. Also little to no opportunity to switch if you cahnge your mind.

Costwise, the sticker price is lower than most elite US colleges, but there’s no FA for Americans. You have to be able to finance the cost. Again, that will affect people depending on their circumstances.

You will generally need to have taken some AP tests in HS and got good scores in them.

Post in the international section, tell us more about what you want from a college, and what your stats are, and you should get some helpful advice.
