understanding the satonlinecourse practice test score report

Hello
i bought the sat onlinecourse as a preperation.
that was the result of one of my tests

subject score range right wrong omitted
Critical Reading 460 - 520 31 12 24
Writing 380 - 510 20 20 9
(MC: 40-50, Essay: 6)
Math 720 - 800 52 2 0

can somebody explain me why there is such a huge difference in writing e.g.?
do i have a score of 380 or 510?

why is my math score with 2 errors at 720 ? what would i get if i omitted the 2 answers ?

thank you!

every test has its own curve. For example, -1 in math can give u 800 in one test and 770 in another one.The score range includes the highest and lowest possible score for a certain raw score, but personally i didn’t see any real test in which -2 math was 800 or 720.

Try this http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-...est-Curves.pdf

this contains the average scaled score for each raw score depending on the past SAT tests
u can use it to estimate your score

hope that helps!
