Undiagnosed medical problems--how much to mention in addt'l info section?

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I've suffered from undiagnosed medical problems, missing several weeks of junior year and a few weeks already of senior year. </p>

<p>Despite this, my grades are solid (3.97 unweighted GPA) and test scores fine (34 ACT), but I wonder if I should mention my illness in the common app's additional info section and how much to focus on it. </p>

<p>I worry about colleges' possible wariness of admitting a (historically) sickly student. </p>

<p>I don’t see any reason to bring it up other than it to explain a dip in test scores, grades, or activities, or to point out a special accommodation you might need on campus or in the classroom.</p>
