<p>In defense of ufwizard…I know kids who were pretty mediocre in HS, but did amazingly well in college. One girl got into an Ivy League school all because of her connections. She really did not have the stats to get in. Everyone at our school was irritated and frustated at her b/c of it. In the end though she ended up doing really well and flourished on her own in college and has a great job now. You really can’t just assume that ufwizard is going to do poorly at UF just b/c of his stats. Even some kids who have the stats to get in don’t always do too well.
At this point it doesn’t really matter. He got in for Summer, so if he does well enough he will be able to continue at UF.</p>
