I will most probably be academically suspended from my current university as I will have a 1.95 GPA there after 3 semesters, and a 2.0 GPA is needed not to be suspended.

Academic suspension means that I will have to take a semester off, and then they will take me back again.

However, My cumulative college GPA will be over a 2.5 at this point.

Can I, without taking a semster off, transfer to another university that has guaranteed admissions for anyone with a 2.5 gpa?

You have to be in good academic standing at your current university to transfer to another. You could look into going to a CC for that semester because I don’t know if they require good academic standing or if you could just enroll.

You can’t transfer to a 4 year school because, as the person above mentioned, you have to be in good academic standing, and academic probation, or suspension, would disqualify you.

Would I have to return to the school I am at now to raise my GPA their over a 2.0 before I could transfer, or would I be able to transfer as soon as the 1 semester suspension is over with less than a 2.0?

If you are indeed suspended, sit down with your advisor or the dean or whoever it is who is responsible, and have them put in writing the specific actions that you must take in order for the suspension to be lifted. Make certain that this letter also specifies what would be required of you in order to get the certification that you are in good standing. Only the people at your own college/university can tell you what the requirements will be. Each place sets its own policy about this type of thing.

You also should consider just taking that semester off. If your grades have slipped that badly, you probably could use a break from studying anyway.
