<p>I'm going to take a CNA course and work as one throughout college as a pre-med. But, that's not for everyone.
I'd say research and volunteering are your best bets, unless you want to get employed by a local doctor's office or hospital doing a low-level job.</p>
<p>well its not exactly an EC, but you could always help out a scientist in the medical department with his or her research. chances are that it'll be a lot more complex/advanced than anything you could come up with and if its at a good university, then you could always ask for a letter of recommendation.</p>
<p>also, working at biotech companies might help too.</p>
