I'm an incoming spring admit freshman and I want to be active socially in my dorm life. Which offer should I take?

PICK THE UNIT 2 DOUBLE. Unit 1 double mini-suites are way less social then unit 2 doubles.

If you like being around people all the time, unit 1. If not, unit 2. I say unit 1 because usually if ur a social person or u just love to make the effort of making friends, than that’ll most likely go well for u. If you like personal space and privacy, then unit 2 might be the better choice.

@ katiekender

dude, *** r u talking about katiekender. The difference between unit 1 and unit 2 is nothing compared to living in the mini suites and living in a double (aka “the high rises”). In the minisuites, there are 2 doors separating u from the hallway, which people rarely go to because they have there own bathroom in their suite. In the high rises, you have to go out the the hallway to go to the bathroom. Everyone on the floor does their business in the same room. There is absolutely no privacy in the high rises. As a result, you naturally meet more people in the high rises than in the mini suites.

It’s easier to form closer bonds with the people on your floor for high rises than in the minisuites. People (usually girls) walk out of the bathroom wearing nothing but a towel after showering. People become comfortable with each other. Making friends is easier in the high rises. Therefore the OP should choose the unit 2 double if he wants a good freshman experience.

Thank you very much aznk122, you have provided valuable information.

I had already told the Housing that I would like to stay in the Unit 1, but I’m going to see if the opening is still available…

If getting into the double doesn’t work out, oh wellz. At least you wouldn’t have to pop your pimples in the mirror while a girl in the stall behind you farts turds out of her god knows where.
