Is there a max number of units you can have? What happens if you exceed this max (rejection or do they just not grant credit for some units)? Asking because I’m projected to exceed 90 semester units by the end of this year thanks to AP credits, but I will have otherwise satisfied all other requirements.
For lower division courses, you’re automatically capped at 70. You can have as many lower div as you want, but can only transfer over 70. You’ll get credit for passing any courses in excess of 70, but will end up at a UC with just 70.
If you have upper division courses, it’s another story.
Of those ~92, 14 would be upper div. Is that an issue?
See page 32+ on the following link: http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/counselors/files/quick-reference-2016.pdf
So you’d be capped at 70 lower division units. Plus 14 upper division puts you at 84 semester units.
That could be a problem, but the link above suggests you might be okay. Read it a few times and then call admissions.
What qualifies as upper division? Does Calc 1 & 2 & 3 & Diff Eq qualify?
Anything at a community college is lower div.
At university, 1-99 course numbers are usually lower div. 100-199 course numbers are usually upper div.
