Hey
I got into Emory as a transfer student. only about 48 of 62 credits at maryland can be transferred to Emory.

I really want to go to Emory but I got in as an Econ major,
when I am in the business school in Maryland.

I would definitely go for Emory if I got into its biz school, which I was stupid enough to not apply for.
but because I planned to go for an MBA after graduation, I cannot decide which would be more helpful for me to get into a good/ well known biz graduate program after graduation --> Biz major at Maryland or Econ major at Emory.

Also, financial issue is a big one on my decision along with this.
I hear that there are alot of international students in Emory, does that make it easier for me to get fin aid from Emory, which I did hear back from the school yet...running a bit slow

Would you be able to transfer from the econ major to business at Emory? You may have the flexibility to do that.

I personally do not know which program is better, and I may be a little biased, but I would consider Emory to be the better one.

Are you an international transfer as well? If so, then maybe. And if possible, try haggling any scholarships they give you. I hope the financial aid comes soon.

looking at how hard it is to get into the biz school at my current school (Maryland), I feel like it would be impossible for me to change my major to biz once I get to Emory, which I would love to do, esp since emory biz school is like the best in US. also I am not an international student and also the biz program in Maryland is considered pretty good.
well thanks for your answer!
