Top 25% of class</p>

<p>GPA- Unweighted- 3.9
Weighted- 3.99
Sat- 2 Part 1000
with writing 1550</p>

Work 4 days a week at a deli
Nominated for Maryland Distinguished Scholar for Vocal Music</p>

<p>What are my chances?? And any other school suggestions?</p>

<p>Also if anyone knows when is the earliest you can turn in your application for admissions? And how long does it take them to notify you after it is turned in?</p>

<p>UAB and the University of Southern Alabama are also possibilities. They are decent schools without the competition for admssion that being a “state flagship” engenders.</p>

<p>The University of Alabama is requiring applicants for Fall 2010 to take the ACT with writing. In their FAQ, it says that if you have already taken the SAT with writing, you can submit that.
You may want to focus on ACT test prep instead.</p>
