I was accepted to the University of
Michigan with a 4.0, but a 25 ACT
score who held ALOT of leadership
positions, and was EXTREMLY involved
in athletics and clubs. Do you think
I should even bother applying due
to my low ACT score, or should I
give it a shot?

If you don’t bother to apply, you won’t get in. I definitly think you should try. My daughter had 3.97 GPA with a 34 ACT (colleges mostly count gpa more than ACT except for the engineering schools) and should she ever gain acceptance she will apply if it’s not too late. I’d guess that you would stand the better chance of getting in due to your GPA and leadership positions. Just write a really good essay and good luck!
