<p>Look at UC Merced. I am told it is focusing on biochem. Not "famous" because it is a brand new UC campus, but it has great faculty & might be a good match/safety for you.</p>
<p>You would be on the very low end of those students admitted to USC this year with those credentials. Expect it to be even higher next year.</p>
<p>Look at Grinnell if you have good grades.</p>
<p>Grinnell seems like a very tough Liberal Arts College.</p>
