Universities to Apply

Hi, Im an international student who really wants to study in USA. Even though, I don't have a lot of money to pay for an expensive college. I've looked for universities that offer intl students scholarships, but I haven't found a lot.
I have already applied to USF, LSU, and Lawrence Tech, and I am already accepted at LSU.

Even though, I wanted to know if anyone of you knew about a good university that offers mechanical engineering and that gives very good scholarships to intl students. I can afford a tuition of maximum 9,000 dollars.

My stats:
SAT: M: 710, CR: 650, W: 640

UW GPA: 3.7

Ive taken 2 AP courses, the only ones offered at my school

I have been part of many EC such as student government, soccer, NHS, working for FIFA, and community service.

Are you currently studying in the US, or are you outside the US? If you are already here, sit down with your guidance counselor and find out whether or not you are considered an in-state resident for tuition and fees purposes. If you are, with $9,000 each year, you can attend a community college or a public college/university that you can commute to from home.

If you are outside the US, you need to read through everything at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.info/) and you need to get in touch with the counselors at the advising center closest to you. They are expert at helping students find good places to study in the US. They will be able to tell you where students like you have been admitted in recent years, and whether or not those students received any financial aid.

You also should spend some time in the International Students Forum. You can find it by going to the main page where all of the forums are listed and then scrolling down. There are a lot of threads about finding financial aid in your situation. If you read them, you might get some good ideas.
