thanks farock, do u remember which school showed all the different dorm rooms?

fsu-uf, those make me feel almost as welcome as the postcard in the shape of a cell phone with a personalized text message on the screen. Forgot what school it was...

Views of campus and dorms = good.
showing a tree surrounded by multiple races = lame.

Some of the books I have liked - Rice, Stanford, Butler, Oberlin, Washington and Lee.

Stanford's book that I got on their tour had more of a breakdown of acceptances that I found interesting(by test score, by class rank, etc.).

wesleyan sent like 5-7 mini-booklets and one booklet was about housing. not only did it explain the different types of housing but also showed like 6-7 different dorms with a description of the person living in it.

What about Admissions Podcasts and blogs? Any specific thoughts, are they effective, do they hold your attention.. Any specific memorable ones?

Thanks

Mich. State invited me to two separate Out-of-State students online chats. I didn't go to any of them, mostly because I knew I wasn't going there, but if I was deciding between schools, that definitely could have swayed my opinion.

I liked that big book from NYU..great book
