University of Arizona, Arizona State, or San Diego State for Business

Which school has the best program for Marketing and Economics? Also what school gives me the best chance at a job out of college. Thanks!

They’re all going to have similar job prospects and equivalent programs. . Which one is instate for you? What are your parents saying about costs

I am In State for Arizona but my parents may be relocating to Cali soon.

The UA’s Eller College of Management is a great program that produces top notch students who find jobs at big name companies all over the world. Known for MIS (4th overall, 2nd public), entrepreneurship (6th overall, 2nd public) and management (27th overall, 14th public), as well as economics and finance, and also a stellar MBA program. Bear down!

Are you a senior in HS?
If your parents are about to relocate to another State, check that if you attend an Arizona university while they’re still residents, you’ll be "grandfathered’ into the instate rate the following years when they’re no longer residents. if that doesn’t apply (and States all have different rules, so DO check), you’d have to wait till your parents have established residency in California before you can apply and be considered for in state CA rates.

Really looking for the internship opportunites in a bigger city as well. U OF A in Tucson I feel like can’t offer that experience. Tucsons economy is in the tank. Am I right?

If prices matter to you:

On-Campus / Off-Campus / At Home

· Arizona State University | $24,744 / $24,370 / $17,052
· San Diego State University* | $37,318 / $34,148 / $22,617
· University of Arizona | $25,745 / $26,615 / $19,831

I believe you would get “Out of State” college costs since you don’t have any California residency, despite of your whole family may be going there.

Also, the more rural it is, logically the better their business program is.

“the more rural it is, logically the better their business program is” =?

You must check that you won’t be considered OOS your second year if your parents are no longer residents. In that case, you’d have to take a gap year to register at a California university. Don’t assume that you’d be considered in state if you started instate but your parents are no longer residents - and prices would be much higher then.

Explain why a rural college would have a better business program. That makes no sense. Looking at Eller and Wp Carey. Which one has the edge?
