University of California Personal Statement #2

This is very raw and it will have mistakes. Thanks for the input!

The prompt is:
Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?

I'm stepping onto the dim lighted stage, looking ahead to the pitch-black box of an audience. I take my seat and adjust my stand whilst the lights brighten up and focus on me and my colleagues.
We begin to color in the lines of silence and take the audience to a solemn, different world for about two minutes. The sound rings away and the crowd breaks into applause. I stand up, bow, and rush offstage.
After getting my things together, I go to the theatre lobby to find my mom. My relatives and friends congratulate me on my performance and tell me how much they enjoyed it. The feeling of satisfaction takes over my body and I mirror everybody with a big smile. My mom calls me over and reminds me that I have to go.
Now, I'm jogging across the dewy grass towards a group of guys who I call my teammates. I have a quick warm up and the whistle blows. I'm running down the field with my eyes glued to the ball.
When I finally get possession of the ball, I resume the show.
My feet are now my hands and the ball is my brush. The pitch is the canvas and I want everyone to see this masterpiece come to life.
I dribble down the center of the field and I lay it off to my forward who finishes off the play by netting one. My mom and parents of my teammates jump and yell in celebration. I look over to the sideline and see the substitutes and my dad, who's the coach, with slight smirks on their faces.
After ninety minutes of a lot of sweat, some blood, and tears of joy, I'm crowned champion of the tournament with my boys. I'm then humbled with a second round of congratulations of the day.
A stranger who was watching the game approaches me and asks for my name. He thanks me for playing the way I did. At this moment, I realize what I love.
When I entertain people, I feel like I'm doing what I was put here to do. Bringing smiles to peoples faces just forces me to break a smile too. Making music and playing soccer are two distinct activities that lead up to the same accomplishment for me. I feed off of the enjoyment and I develop as a performer with this nourishment.
The universal smiles from my family, friends, Micro Soccer players, teachers, and random spectators from this vital Saturday exposed the true reason of my existence.
