HC1813, they will require you update your fall quarter grades during winter. They will still look at it, but I do not know how much weight they will put in when determining your acceptance. If you're failing a class during fall, then they will definately take into consideration.

Don't worry Yams you still have 3 more days. Good luck. I'm still moving my essays around.

what do they do with old college applications? do they delete them? I'm thinking of just submitting the same essay that i applied with last year. hahaha. okay, only if i can't come up with one right now!!

I think I rewrote it so much till the point I am just, blank.
I hope everything is well for you Sakura, and everyone else. When do you think you'll be done with your essays?
Good luck everyone!

sorry, but one more question. I am currently at a UC and want to transfer to another UC, but i only have 88.5 quarter units at UCD. The min requirements is 90 units, but i also have 24 units in AP that shows in my academic transcript, but not on application. Will they consider my AP scores for units, or that is not factored into the 90 units i need for the min requirements for applying? thanks again, please help.

Phew I am done writing it, I'm at school now and I had a transfer counselour take a look at it, she said it's good, so thank god, but I have to make some minor adjustments..
Thank god I don't have to rewrite it again!

I remember last year, I think the server crashed? Because I remember they extended the UC application deadline to December 1 2005.

Does anyone know of someone or know something regarding sophomore transfer within the UC system? I'm currently at UCLA right now, but I want to transfer to UCSD as a sophomore (lower division). What are my chances of getting in? PLEASE HELP!

okay, so I know it's a little late to be asking this. clearly I'm a last minute person...luckily for me, I work well under pressure haha. Anyway, I'm drafting my 600-word essay on the one where we have to describe a talent, experience, contribution, or personal quality we'll bring to the UC. Did anyone name multiple things under this one, or do you think that when it says "a talent..." it means only one? I realize this is probably a silly question, but any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Also, are you all sending in your transcripts along with the app? Thanks so much, and good luck to everyone :)

If you took a class with a certain instructor I felt influenced me a lot, is it proper to use this instructor in your personal statement? I wanted to talk about one of my professors for questoin 1.

ckdunton, I am sure the UC won't penalize you for having more than one to talk about. What are you going to be talking about if you don't mind me asking?

^^^you should probably focus on one thing.

Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to submit my application but on the automatic review section its pointing out some B.S. "mistake". It keeps saying I haven't listed the courses that I'm taking right now and plan to take in spring. The problem is I have listed all the courses and put IP for the fall classes and PL for spring classes. Anyone else having this problem, or is my application just retarded?

blah im just gonna submit tomorrow. my app is 100% done, but too much to think about tonigt and have an essay due tomrorow. goodluck to people who sent tonight
