this may have already been answered but im wondering--do i need to send in my transcripts?? i dont remember it saying anything about it after i finished the app..am i supposed to send them in when fall grades are done or should i be doing it now? thanks in advance

on january 8th we will be able to do an update for transfer apps to update the grades. Also when you get accepted then they will ask for an official transcript

I'm borderline for straight A's. Got a 100 on the last physics midterm. So close to getting an A! Although I shouldn't brag, I'm only taking 2 classes.

Anyone else shooting for straight A's?

Bah i got 2 Bs my first semester at a CCC for being stupid and taking 20 units. Ever since then ive learned my lesson and managed straight A's. Manage to pull it back to a 3.9 if i get a 4.0 this sem, which i think i did, hopefully

Aren't we all shooting for straight A's?

Hahahaha...my friend up there said the exact same thing!

if i get a 96 on my calculus final i will have straight As... but i doubt it because that would mean i would score higher on my final than i have on any test

lol damn, i got exactly a 96% on my Calc2 final (192/200) it was awesome

ok time for me to brag:

This semester:

Accounting I: Final - 100%
Course Grade - 96%

Accounting II: Final - 108%
Course Grade - 94%

Math (Business Calculus): Final - 110%
Course Grade - 104%

Economic History of the US: Final - Result comes out Today
Course Grade - Right before the Final it was a 97%, so I should be ok :)

Business: Final - No Idea
Course Grade - Right before the Final it was a 110% so I'm in good shape :)

I think it's safe to say that I got a 4.0 this semester :P

walks out of the thread

nobody cares beezie, absolutely nobody cares.

i know. and I wasn't expecting anybody to care.
It's just that people have started posting their Finals/Course grades for this term, so I was just playing along :P

Aren't we all shooting for straight A's?
Not all of use can get straight A's. I was asking if anyone is potentially getting a 4.0 this semester and obviously shooting for it.

Yup. Not everyone has high standard of what is good and what is bad.
For example, my friend is totally satisfied with a grade of C (where as I tend to totally spazz when I get one O.o). There were this reading tests where the prof averages out the three test scores. He got 96 and 100 on first and second test. He figured that he would end up with at least a C in the class even if he just skipped the third test, so he ended up just skipping the third test and slept in.

The result? His averaged out score was a 65, and he ended up with 76 in the class. He was totally capable of getting an A in the class if he just took the third test, but he was like "eh~ C's still good for me" and didn't seem to be depressed at all.

Indeed not everyone's shooting for an A ;)

Woooops. I remember back in the day, I was always shooting for straight A's, even when in reality I was getting all D's. Now that I think of it..if I aimed for a lower standard, maybe things would have been less stressful...hmmm

it's really cool how uc's will only have my fall grades for gpa because i'm first year. i tried really hard to get straight A's and i think i succeeded. of course, my 4.0 won't be a simpressive as those that got 4.0 from three semestres, not one.

sauron, will you have 60 units?

how do u have enough units to transfer sauron
