I’m looking to transfer to UCF to get a Bachelor in Forensic Science, and I’m not sure what my chances are.
I will have a little over 30 credit hours done at my local college with hopefully a gpa of about 3.5 (that’s with UCF’s scale).
My ACT score is 29. Unfortunately, I have two classes in my first semester of college marked as No Show (NS). How bad does two NS’s look?
Also, UCF will see that on my high school transcripts my GPA was at an unweighted 2.6 and I didn’t pass any of my AP exams except for Physics (I got a 3). To clarify, I passed the classes with B’s or C’s, just not the AP exam. How heavily will my high school records affect the admissions decision?
If anyone knows anything specific about the Forensic Science program at UCF, that info would be helpful as well. Do I have to apply for that separately, or do I just declare that as my major if I’m accepted to UCF?
