Did anyone else applying to the University of Chicago receive a phone call from the transfer admissions department today telling us to call and ask about programs we are interested in at Chicago and to help "ease the transition to Chicago?" I've been going crazy trying to interpret the meaning of the call and what it means in terms of my acceptance/rejection.

Yeah, I got the same thing, but it was a student and he said that it was a volunteer organization to help out prospective students, so I figure that it doesn't mean anything either way, as it's student-run, not admissions-counselor-run.

wow that's still nice though.

btw i was just wondering but has the check credentials link on the application status page disappear for you guys? as in you can't click on it anymore?

Yeah, it disappeared a few weeks ago.

By the by, the student who called me said that for Early Evaluation, letters should be sent out next week.
