University of Chicago Essay! Confused..

University of Chicago is known for their unique prompts that are often interesting and let you be creative. I have had some difficulty with the prompt (living vs. reality) because I have so many thoughts about it. I am basically trying to word my thoughts and I will need to reorganize and edit my essay a lot before I find it acceptable, I have never done this before... ARGHHH.

My essay I feel is very analytically and I talk about some moderately abstract ideas that in my opinion are sorta unique. However besides a short introduction personal anecdote and maybe a conclusion one, I feel the essay is written very scientifically? I guess. I am also trying to word a symbolic/ metaphoric reference but my ideas are very esoteric.

My fear is that they aren't looking for this and you're suppose to bring yourself out in the paper:
"We want you to thrive at UChicago. Tell us who you are—in your own voice—not what you think we want to hear."

I am spending a very long time on this essay, should I attempt this approach?
