Hello everyone, I have been working on my uchicago essay. I chose the prompt "Don't write about reverse psychology" So I wrote about the cosmos. My essay talks about humans fascination with the heavens and it touches upon my own curiosity in the subject. I really like my essay, it flows well and it has themes of discovery, and the thirst for knowledge. But I am worried it doesn't have enough personal stuff in it about me. What should I do? Does chicago get to know us from the way we think about a subject or do they want to get to know us from personal experiences?

They’ll also evaluate your common app essay. That should have plenty of stuff about you personally. I personally would use the uChicago essay to show the way you think and write, as it’s a much less structured process.
