University of Chicago law school

How realistic is it to get into UChicago law? I have the GPA for it (on the low end though, messed up one semester my freshman year) and I'm going into my junior year at University of Florida. I know that I'll need a 170+ on my LSAT to get in.

I'm a biz econ major so I'd like to do corporate law afterwards. So in other words it's UChicago or bust or maybe go back to my undergrad school for law school and work in Florida.

Just wanted to make sure it was a realistic pursuit before I spend countless hours mastering the logic games section.

I don’t understand this.

You haven’t really told us enough (or anything). What’s your GPA?

I said that to clarify that I was an undergraduate business student. Which in a lot of cases is looked down upon but I think being a business student with an emphasis in economics has it’s pluses in areas of law such as corporate law.

3.75+

I believe there’s a “Why Chicago” essay and an on-campus interview, both of which may compensate for whatever your deficiencies may be.

Yeah… undergraduate business is pretty pathetic

It is going to be very tough without engineering or something hard in order to get into Law School.

^ I disagree.

Law schools don’t care about your major. At most, it probably has a 1% chance of affecting your decision.
