<p>I plan on applying to University of Chicago this fall, so I was wondering if anyone knows what the average SAT score is needed to get accepted. I know it depends on many factors, but what were the scores in past couple of years? Thank you.</p>

<p>They really don’t care that much about SAT scores though. Essays, recs, and rigor of your schedule are the only things they really see as important.</p>

<p>They apparently do consider them important enough not only to request them but also to post detailed score distributions on their web site.</p>
