I have been checking my student center frequently to ensure the school has recieved my transcripts, test scores, etc and two links have been on the screen - check application status and withdraw application

Today, a new link called pay admissions deposit appeared ... i know uconn is not rolling admissions and was informed they would tell me my decision in early march, but since this link appeared does that mean i am accepted? It wouldnt make sense for me to be able to make a deposit had i been declined ..... when i click on application status it says information is unavailable which leads me to this question.

I’m also applying for a transfer. My application was completed in the beginning of January but I had to call several times to verify that they had all documentation. For example the high school transcript I had sent to them first was the last thing they put in. When I called undergrad admissions they said they had the transcript for awhile they just had not made the change and did it while I was on the phone.

As far as the pay admissions deposit thing, I would give them a call as well. Was your application ever verified completed? What generally happens from what I remember is when you check your application status (daily I’m assuming) it will say “information will appear in 24 hours” or something. Then you check back and it tells you the admissions decision. Until then it should say “your app was completed on blah blah day, decision posted here when available, please allow minimum of 4 weeks.”

You should be able to see your admissions decision for a long time after the fact, give them a call.

Are you currently enrolled in an ECE class? I have the new link and application status as well, but the link just sends me to a page which prompts me to pay for ECE. Weird.

I also have a box under the financial aid section that says “New Admit Scholarship Acceptance” but when I click on it it brings me to another page where I can check a box which says “accept”…only it doesn’t tell me what the scholarship is! I don’t want to check it because I am not sure I am going here…
