My daughter was told she’d hear by the 15th. Since results are usually realeased in Friday, will we hear then? Also wondering if anyone has heard back from fashion merchandising???
I called an hour ago and was told I should hear something by Friday. I asked for a little peak and was told your weren’t denied and that was a good thing. Abbyubycookie: Have you called them?

Well I called. I was the seventh caller so they were pretty busy. She told me my application is still under review. It could roll out and update between Wednesday and the weekend. I asked if this means rejection is off the table. She said it could go three ways: rejection, waitlist or acceptance. DUH!
Is everything thing like me all the denials have been sent? My thought is a wait list if anything negative.
@hockeybuff17 I thought that too and I still think that. Why else would they ask for mid-term grades? The part I can’t understand is that my application is still under review. Ridiculous. Also, they will have to explain the reason way I am able to sign up for decision day (April 24th) for admitted students. I was able to do that back in December and I did.
I still have the e-mail confirmation. Anybody else able to do this? You go under admitted students page, scroll down to “My Blue Hen Home” and sign in there. Odd.
@abbyrubycookie we were never able to sign on to admitted students day it always bounced us back to portal. That’s so odd you were able to do that, I would definitely fight that.
I too called this morning. I told them they would probably have to dust the cobwebs off my daughters application as they received it on Oct.2 and that it has been over 5 months. She was very sweet and apologized and said they were so behind on applications this year and said she would see what she could do but we would definitely hear by the 15th. I checked the portal again at 4pm and the major had disappeared… hoping good news this week!
We are still waiting to hear…her major is still on the portal. They requested mid-year grades but receiving them is not reflected on the portal. Is that the case for others? She just emailed them to assure they received them from her Counseling Dept - but now she is concerned. Maybe we should call tomorrow. If we call - can I call while she is at school? @abbyrubycookie we were unable to access registration for admitted students day - bounces us back to portal.
We were told the mid quarter grades would not be posed on the portal . But call to check they received them, can’t hurt

I’ve called so many times, the general admissions people don’t know much. You have to get to the admissions counselor. That’s hard to do. They are the front line.
I can’t believe this school. I called again this morning and they said there’s a slim chance I’ll here by Friday. My last letter said they need midterm grades to make a final decision and hope to be out by March 15. This is INSANE !
@hockeybuff17 I thought you decided on UNC Chapel Hill?
@hockeybuff17. I think it’s ridiculous that you get a different answer every time you call there. That’s what happened to me, I was told I would have to wait till April 15 for an answer and then yesterday she said I may here by March 15 or it may roll into the weekend or a week after that.
I still want to hear their decision
