Nuts!!
Ok…we are feeling clueless here…
My S21 set up gatorlink. When he went to login, it prompted him to set up two factor authentication which he did.
Now, when he logs into gatorlink, he gets a pop up that says “success, you’ve logged into gatorlink. In 5 seconds you will be redirected to ufl.edu.” It then automatically redirects him to what looks like the regular UF webpage.
What are we doing wrong? Are you all seeing your financial aid decisions on the application portal or gatorlink? He didn’t get an email so we are just poking around and looking for it (obviously unsuccessfully!)
Even if i have nine transferable credit hours?
You should be logging into one.ufl.edu with the gatorlink user name/password.
Are OOS Benacquisto scholars eligible for in-state tuition for the summer sessions? Thanks
Thank you!!
Some positive news regarding the bill. desantis came out and said he supports a fully funded bright futures. there could be some veto action if it gets to that point.
My son at USF had 30 transfer credits and still had to
do we only have to attend on summer term?
That one is a state scholarship but I do not think it covers summer. Financial Aid would know more.
A bit confused - so my daughter is considering both UF and FSU. Is this session b4 Freshman year (she can’t) or any summer?
thx
Thank you. I will reach out to FA.
Curious to hear what Melissa says, but my read is any summer(s) and some kids can fulfill with study abroad or internship.
Students who enter a state university in Florida with fewer than 60 credits must earn at least nine credits before graduation during summer terms at State University System (SUS) institutions. However, students who earn six credits through UF-sponsored, UF exchange or approved SUS study-abroad programs during one or two summer terms completely satisfy the summer-term enrollment requirement. In addition, credits earned through any of the study-abroad programs approved by UF during a summer term count toward satisfaction of the summer-term enrollment requirement.
9 credits how ever you want to do it.
It’s fun. Everyone loves sumner B. Don’t be stressed over it. The only negative is Bright Futures doesn’t pay, but FPP does
I am OOS so it just costs an extra 20k which hurts
It’s part of your 120 credits for graduation. Why is it 20k, how much is an OOS credit? In state is approx $154 wo the differential.
I do not think it specified on the financial aid but it just said 20 k per semester so it would be 40 year round if i did just fall and spring but it would be 60 k if i added the summer term
You pay per credit at Florida schools. It’s not going to cost the same as a spring or fall semester. People sublease an apt. You don’t pay a meal plan. You will end up saving money on other semesters.
