University Of Florida Admissions? Summer B? Oos Chances?

Hi,

I posted this in the main admissions thread, just figured I'd get a few more opinions here.

I was wondering if someone could describe for me what summer b is at the University of Florida, as I am unfamiliar with it. If you choose summer b, do you have a better chance of being accepted oos? Do you have to attend summer semesters every year after freshman year as well, or can you change to fall/spring?

Also, I have heard conflicting reports about oos being detrimental to an applicant's chances at UF. Opinions?

Thanks!

OOS= tougher to get in. The numbers don't lie. The expception is if you are a National Merit Semi Finalist. Definitely apply summer b. Your chances increase. You will have to attend summer session before freshman year. After that, you enroll in Fall, just like everyone else. Summer session is real chill. Take like 1 class, a class you hate that you can knock off right away perhaps. Its not bad, you have mad fun. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your opinion alan, very helpful. Anyone else?
