Apparently I just found out that my PSAT (when converted to SAT) scores and GPA are both in the range for a 50% chance (according to Cappex) of acceptance into JHU. Of course, the chance of acceptance is higher at UF.
The main question here though is this: Is it really worth enrolling in JHU, when I could easily get into UF with far less debt and perhaps easier classes? I plan on being a pharmacist, so I really don't think I need an undergrad college on par with the Ivy League to get into a respectable grad program (such as UF's) and hence, a good job. But doing well at JHU will practically guarantee admission into UF's pharm program, right?
If I do well on my IB and AP exams, I might need to spend only one year at UF and maybe only one year even at JHU to get 2 years of credit, which is a main requirement for UF's pharm program. So, the money might not be that big of a deal, when financial aid comes (note that my family is in the "upper middle class", so I won't be getting a free ride).

I might recommend UF. Besides for its financial advantages, it will likely be easier for you to succeed there. It sounds like your admission into JHU isn’t even certain, but if you do get in you probably won’t be at the top of your class (assuming your 50% stat is reflective of your abilities). JHU is known for being highly competitive which can create an unpleasant or, at the very least, a very challenging atmosphere to succeed in. Sometimes it’s preferable to perform better at a less prestigious school than to be in the middle of the pack at a more prestigious school.

You should wait until you apply/are accepted and get your financial info back before you decide which school you are going to go to.

Thousands of student have SAT scores within the middle 50% of the top schools are declined. That has no indication of acceptance. Apply there, obviously, but as barrk said there is no reason to decide now. You’re thinking too far ahead.
