University of Georgia

Hi, I'm having some family issues and we need to move to GA permanently so I'll have to withdrawal from my classes.

My stats are as follows:
HS GPA 4.12
3 AP courses taken 2 passed with 3's
I don't have 4 year math only 3
2 year FL
ACT: Composite 25
Math 25
English 34
SAT: CR: 670
M: 520
W: 590

I don't know if I should classify myself as a transfer if I'm going to withdrawal from all of my classes so I'll have no credits from this school. Please Help!

Dmeggs: Wasn’t completely clear from your post, but it seems that you graduated from high school in 2010? If you are currently enrolled in a college in FL, then you will be considered a transfer student and have to follow those guidelines. Not sure what happens if you withdraw from your current classes.

The best advice is for you to contact the Admissions Office and explain your situation and see which category you fall into.

The following information is from the Admissions website regarding transfer students. It appears that you must list the school that you are currently attending and transfer applicants are required to have completed 30 credit hours. Good luck in your decision.

Complete Transfer Applications Include:
■Application and nonrefundable $60 fee.
■Official transcript(s) from all colleges or universities ever attended, including work completed through joint or dual enrollment programs, through study abroad work, or through work completed as a summer transient or any other program.

Students with fewer than 30 transferable hours
Ineligible. Must have at least one complete year of full-time college enrollment resulting in 30 or more transferable hours by the transfer application deadline to be considered for transfer admission to the University of Georgia.
