University of Georgia's fashion merchandising program

Im really considering UGA for college with a degree in fashion merchandising. I've heard this school is really good academically, but I've heard nothing about their fashion program. I would really like some reviews and opinions on their program. I'm also kind of considering Georgia Southern, but I have a feeling UGA is better. Please help.

UGA is definitley better

Geez, why take our word for it? Educate yourself. Read the course catalogues: see what the requirements are, see how many department, college, and university requirements there are. See how often upper-level FM courses are taught. Call up the Admissions Office at each school and ask for someone who can tell you about the opportunities in fashion merchandising and ask the AO any questions you have from reading the course catalogue. Then call up the department and ask to speak to the director of undergraduate studies to see if you’re a good fit for their department: how many students are in the major? how many students in the introductory major classes? can you double major in business or some other field in which you’re interested? how does the university work to get jobs for their graduates? And so forth. Then get on campus and see how you feel about the rest of the school and the experience you will have there. Where will you do your better work and get the most for your time and money?
