University of Glasgow

Hey guys, I'm an American student who's very interested in going to University of Glasgow.

I have met all of the requirements to go (2000 SAT I, 730 US History SAT II, 690 World History SAT II, 4 AP World History, 4 US History)

But I was wondering if my GPA (2.9 :() would hinder me in going to the university, what do you guys think?

GPA wouldn’t count.
Can you afford it though, without any financial aid?
In addition, what subject would you be applying for, history?
Where else would you apply? I strongly recommend you apply to 5 universities, not just one, especially considering it’s only £22 total.

ABB is the minimum at this highly-ranked university. Here are the equivalent.

Next to your subject, there’d be AAB or ABB or AAA, so you’d need to adjust according to the requirement.
In terms of IB, ABB= 34, with your HL’s at 6,5, 5.

UK Schools don’t look for GPA. The UCAS is due very soon though so if you’re just getting started now and you’re a senior I wouldn’t advise it…
