And also please tell me how do i improve my ec???
I am from Dubai and study CBSE,
No offense, but you should first spell the university’s name correctly.
It’s not “University of Illionois-Urbana Champagne”, it’s “University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign”.
UIUC does not consider Subject Test scores, so don’t bother with them in your application. What is your individual scores on each section of the SAT? Is your Math score decent?
You will also need to give the TOEFL, so focus on that as well. UIUC generally does not offer FA to international students, so you’re limited to institutional merit scholarships, which are hard to come by.
@DarkEclipse yeah srry abt the spelling…thanks for the reply,my maths in the sat 1 comes up to 670, dunno hw gud or bad is tht…i ll consider givin toefl if its neccassary…and also if u dont mind cud u tell me my chances in purdue.
And also which is better for mechanical engineering: purdue or illinois?
You’ll need to retake the SAT and get your math score above 700 if you want a shot at UIUC. I don’t “chance” people, I just tell them what they could do to improve their application.
As for Illinois vs Purdue, both of them are fine.
@DarkEclipse alright thanks will try my best the next time i take
No, problem
Good luck!
