<p>I'm currently a resident of Kansas, but I have the opportunity to get residency in Arizona due to my Dad living there. If I go to KU I will have money left over after college but if I go to Arizona ill be about 20,000 in debt. So what I'm asking is, would ASU be a better idea since it is a better "ranked" school? or will I have the same opportunities?</p>
<p>Go to KU if they offer what you’re looking for. Arizona State is not a good enough school to be $20k in debt if you can do KU in a debt free fashion. </p>

<p>Yeah I agree with CatnPhx. I would never want to be in $20k debt, especially since it’s a school like ASU. If you can actually to UKansas for free you should just do that.</p>
<p>You’ll have the same opportunities. </p>
<p>Furthermore, Kansas is ranked #104 and ASU is ranked #143. Not that it matters at this level.</p>
<p>I would go to KU. Better School, Costs less and has a better basketball team. I don’t know anyone who went to KU that didn’t love it there.</p>

<p>Why did you think it’s better ranked? It’s not. And even so, rankings don’t mean that one school will provide better job opportunities after graduation anyway.</p>
