Isn’t the Patterson equivalent to Singletary?
My son didn’t get anything over the bluegrass and engineering. He will be going elsewhere, but it was worth a look. Good luck to everyone.
@OCmom18 it is equivalent. DS was fortunate to get a competitive scholarship (Brown Fellows) plus GEMS program acceptance at Louisville, which is driving his decision to attend U of L over UK.
Hope you get good news today!
Sorry to hear @caprica6. Good luck to your DS with everything.
Unless they have changed the scholarship, I think the financials between the Singletary and Patterson are the same (a couple years ago there were small differences). But the Singletary includes community service projects and I believe a Singletary class that all scholarship recipients take.
Congrats @loukydad to you and your son. Sounds like a great opportunity!!
@saillakeerie thank you. And yes can confirm your notes on the Singletary. DS was told on interview day there is a 1 hour class Singletary recipients attend each semester and certain other program activities that have minimal time commitment. But financially equivalent to Patterson.
