Can you get merit aid if you aren’t honors or scholars ?
Where are people finding out about Honors/Scholars? Found out I got into Engineering LEP but don’t see anything about Honors/Scholars

@Resonated It is included in your admissions decision on the first line. For example, I received:
Congratulations! I am pleased to offer you admission to the University of Maryland (UMD) and to College Park Scholars for the Fall 2016 semester.
@Sniksder16 I think for Freshman Connection, you can take classes in the Fall and go to all the games and still be pretty much in the fall class. I think I read something about that
@Sniksder16 With deferred spring admission. You can go in the fall and live on campus. I believe the only difference is that you have to take classes from 3-9pm and you cannot play on any NCAA sports.

For those who were rejected, it tells you that you were rejected right? My friend doesn’t have any “DECISION STATUS: AVAILABLE BEGINNING 1/29/2016 4:45:00 PM”
Yeah it says “We are sorry you were not accepted” when you click on the decision link
Got into scholars! 3.8 UW GPA/1310 SAT
Admitted to Honors College OOS NJ 1400 SAT
For all of you who were accepted for Spring Semester with an option to do Freshman Connection - DO IT!! My S did it this year and it was the best way to transition into college. The only difference is you take classes that start in the afternoon and you cannot play in D1 sports. But everything else is the same and no one knows or cares! it is a no- brainer.
I clicked the decision link and it only shows what it has been saying for the past 3 months?
@kerrycake Towards the bottom of the screen where it shows Application Status: Submitted at the top, do you NOT see a line that says "Decision status: Available beginning . . . " with a link underneath it? i expected the text at the top to change from Application Status: Submitted to something else to indicate the decision but you actually have to scroll down farther to see a different link.

1510/1600, 4.7 wGPA. Don’t know abt housing glitch- when he went to look decision was posted.
Son did not have housing glitch but was accepted.
tfw ppl are getting in with lower sat scores
