Anyone been able to submit preferences for honors? My D is getting an error message or page reload every time.

My residency status says non-resident, but I’m in state. I think I choose the wrong box on my application. Will UMD take away my acceptance?

Can I apply for honors if I didn’t get into it? I got into FIRE tho, so could I like appeal the FIRE one and apply for honors instead?
I spoke with admissions this morning, they are still sending out decisions, could be all week. If you don’t hear by Friday afternoon, call on Monday.
Same my friend called today, and they said that they’re still in the process of sending out scores
Yeah, I called too and they said the same thing. I don’t know why we couldn’t have gotten it at the same time as the majority. 
I haven’t heard back either. I submitted 10/14 and I checked 5 times to make sure nothing was wrong. UMD is my #1 and #2 is much much further behind. I thought we might hear back today but still no luck. Any idea when the next wave of decisions might come out?

Yeah I saw someone make that mistake so I double checked but that isn’t the problem. Did you call the office about that? They should realize that you aren’t a transfer student and werent applying for this spring.

This happened to my son, believe it was a glitch, admin office said that there were many students who called saying their application, that said Fall 2017, had Spring 2017 checked off. They said this was not an issue, but explains why, seems these apps may be in limbo. Should know by the end of this week.
@itsgettingreal17 - YES!! I don’t remember the actual mechanics of of it (My D did it 3 years ago). It is basically creating a UMD email address. I sure others on here have done it. Hopefully, one of them can provide details. I believe you also use that to submit the Housing form.

@ClickedSpring Yes, but I would tell you to reach out if this is what your son/daughter did. My son found the name of the admissions rep for our area and sent an email directly to her, to the admissions address listed on the FAQ portion of their admissions site, and I called this morning. She literally said it wasn’t a huge deal and they had already had several calls (9;30am) about the same issue. I think it was a glitch with the system, he had hit fall2017 but if you don’t move the cursor away and go directly to the scroll bar you could change your choice.
Anyone have statistics about GPA and sat for honors college. Dissapointed that I was only accepted to Scholars Program. If i show them my Northeastern scholarship and honors college decisions at other schools, will they reconsider?
@kramerismynamer Well Good Luck you’ve gotten into some really good colleges. You’re ACT is great and all EC’s. These things don’t make since. Ohio State should happen.
