This is frustrating. We did our part and applied by the priority deadline, and they said we would hear by mid April. They’re not true to their word.
I think usually they respond at 4:45. I got my acceptance letter on the 14th of October for Spring 2017 at 4:45 PM so hopefully they send out the decisions today.
I find it hilarious when my classmates tell me they were already accepted ,when no one on the entire CC forum has gotten back a letter, and UMD hasn’t even released any decisions yet. LIARS!

I just found out that I got scholarship money from UMW so UMD better step up their game!
I also tried contacting the Financial aid office and you will get your Financial aid award by email or mail only if you got accepted to the university and they will not release awards until you get your UID on the admissions letter.
is anyone considering doing the MTAP program if they dont get in? and if youve done the MTAP program how did you like it?
I’m sort of considering it, but I would probably take a year off to work and travel beforehand. I haven’t figured it out yet, because I’m still hoping to get good news next week
You’re pretty much considered a 100% chance admission with MTAP with a 3.0 gpa and above.
