I’m getting so irritated. They just keep extending their expected release date. It’s ridiculous.
So what are the people who have May 1st deadlines for other colleges suppose to do? I got a good scholarship offer from a different school and I need to put my deposit in. Will they be sending in the financial aid stuff as well?
@undecidedtraveler231 call Admissions. Explain you have deadlines. Maybe if enough people tell them, they’ll move their asses.

they need to set a date, stick to it, and send out decisions then. the worst part about this is that we don’t know. if they had said April 25th initially it wouldn’t be as bad because at least we would know when to expect.
I shouldn’t even waste my time on them.
It’s just making me really anxious. I don’t want to spend everyday for the next two weeks stressing out until 5pm to see if they will post decisions or not. It may not seem like a big deal to them, but it’s a big deal to us. Most students have other colleges they need to respond too. We all have coursework to finish this semester for our current universities. We don’t need the stress of this too.
@ss021798 Exactly how I feel. If they gave us a concrete date I wouldn’t care about the additional wait, my other schools don’t release decisions until May 1 anyway. But putting on the site “by mid-April”, making me expect April 15(actually mid-April), saying over the phone “hoping for Friday at 5”, then saying “by April 25”? I don’t need this stress. I asked earlier today, they gave me the same answer: by the end of the month. I wish they would at least say “not today”.
@CasimirPulaski1 I wouldn’t mind either, but they are being so vague with us. Last week someone said three different people told them it would be Friday the 14th at 5pm. Why would admissions have said that? Now it’s Monday and they are saying it might not even be this week? It’s ridiculous and upsetting. We all submitted our documents on time. They could repay us by giving us our decisions when they originally said they would.
I was told last week that it would be by the end of that week or early this week. Are they saying the same thing this week?
It’s really annoying how people either heard on the 14th or before. And now they’re telling us we might hear by the 25th??? Like come on now

I was told on thursday of last week that decisions would be released at the end of last week or the beginning of this week. At this point, I don’t know. They could be instructing admissions counselors to say different things to make sure that it is kept a surprise as opposed to us just being told. Am I confident in today being the day, no. Am I confident in this week being the week? Mostly.
