@sccr97 they did this same shit!? What are you now?
I wonder if the people who had the housing glitch were people that got in or if it was just random because I never had it…
@kdp1998 the housing glitch was just a glitch. They removed it. Check back a few pages where I talk about it
@tallpolyglot I’m a freshman currently, I’ll repost my stats here lol
Coming from a small accredited liberal arts school in the Northeast
College GPA so far: 3.78
12 Credits from my current school, 16 this semester
Got into UMD when I was a senior in high school
High school GPA: Probably a 3.6 to end with with a 1920 superscored SAT
Applied as a non-LEP major w/ a pretty good essay
EC:
NCAA DIII Varsity Athlete
_____ University Pre-Health Society
also I completed the math and english requirements
They probably just said it was a glitch so that people would stop talking about it. The HS seniors just got it when they got accepted so I doubt its fixed
@sccr97 oh cause you said they did this to you when you applied as a freshmen lol
@bbe267 Lol you can call again if you want. The housing/dining agreement will no longer be showing up on the portal like it has in the past since ResLife took over.
@tallpolyglot whoops! totally meant I applied for the freshman 2016 deadline
Ehh I’ll believe it when I don’t see it
If everyone on here calls and bugs the shit out of them maybe they will get off their asses. 4:45 is only a few hours away. Let’s hope they are bluffing
I wish it was still a thing. At least with the glitch we would know early in the day whether or not decisions are dropping that day.
@bbe267 fair enough. But calling is the most effective way haha
@tallpolyglot
My guess is that decisions take a few hours to load to their database, that’s why some people get the housing glitch hours apart from others. Even if they had everything completed, I doubt they could release decisions today unless they started earlier.
@CasimirPulaski1 she said since ResLife took over there will be no more housing on the portal. It will appear somewhere else but like someone said they could have people telling us all sorts of shit.
In any regard, MID-APRIL has passed so the deadline is officially bullshit.
They replied to my tweet with “this month” that was an hour ago
Most likely a complete and utter lack of communication between the counselors has caused this to become an absolutely perfect example of unprofessionalism by a University. It is not so much that it is taking forever, it is that different counselors are telling different people different things.
@sml101 complete and utter unprofessionalism, but the students who signed up for priority shouldn’t be penalized.
Don’t forget we paid $75 for the privilege
