University of Maryland CP vs. University of Wisconsin, Madison

In terms of academics, environment, scholarships, job opportunities, etc., which do you think would be the better option? I really love how close UM is to D.C. but Madison is beautiful as well. Both are good public colleges and considered "public ivies." I am looking into landscape architecture, if that helps. Thanks!

If you have applied, wait until you have been accepted by both, and until you have received both financial aid packages to worry about this. It is entirely possible that one will be utterly unaffordable.

I’m a junior so I won’t be applying for several months! Tuition is definitely not cheap for out-of-state public schools though :(

hey, have you decided where to go to yet im making the same decision right now
i like umd’s diversity more but i havnt recieved anything from them yet
