I plan to double major in Computer Science and Economics, with Computer Science being my primary major. Case Western is around $32k per year and University of Maryland is 18k per year (these figures include all merit scholarships except for National Merit Finalist scholarships). I would really like to leave Maryland, but it seems like Case Western isn't good at anything I'm interested in studying. Any comments would be appreciated.

Are those your only options?

I’m negotiating aid with other schools, so I want to pick one of these two in case I can’t get the package I want.

UMD is great. Stay there.

Be grateful you live in a state with such a GREAT university - go to Maryland - if Case MATCHES then okay but in reality Case is not worth a dime more than Maryland.

Any other opinions?

Yes - I have an opinion - but this is an old thread - so … where did you end up?
