University of Maryland is my dream school. I live out-of state and I know that makes my chances much slimmer. But here are my credentials- let me know what you think!

GPA- 4.0 unweighted
SATs- 1220 CR 590 Math 630
Classes- Honors 3 APs
4 on Psych AP

EC:
Editor in chief- school newspaper
Tennis- 7 years
Piano- 9 years
Volunteer Experience

Do you really think I will have a problem getting in? Do the SATs count for a lot? It is so frustrating for me because I do so well in school and have such an impressive activities resume, but the SATs hold me back.
Thanks

Its a slight reach for you. i live in maryland and have met the ad com's for this region tons of times. A good gpa will make up for par or sub par sat's. Decent ec's and some ap's are good. The fact hurting you is you are out of state. Curious, why dont you live penn state
