<p>Hack it. I wouldn't call a 3.5 gpa as being that bad.</p>
<p>I don't need to bash every state university. I just need to bash those who have a need to purposely put down University of Miami for no good reason.</p>
<p>By the way Penn State is ranked just the same as University of Florida. </p>
<p>Notice how University of Miami is a lot more selective than Penn State with a selectivity ranking of 49 versus a selectivity ranking of 87 for Penn State.</p>
<p>Of course you would think that Penn State is the better school bcause it is ranked higher, even though its selectivity is no where near as high as UM's and the numbers of its student body such as gpa and SAT score are substantially lower.</p>
<p>Penn State isn't a bad school, the environment is just not for everybody and the information and reasoning I provided is backed with facts straight from U.S. News.</p>
