Is your SAT from CR+M only?
Then it is 500 points away from the admission range.
With only the above credentials, I would say you have a very, very slim chance of admission. But, if you are very intent on U of M, I would study and retest as many times as I could in order to improve my scores. I would also try the ACT, I scored pretty low on the SAT and was disappointed, but did much, much better on the ACT. I would also try my best to make my application stand out as much as possible and write the best possible essays I could. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t get your hopes up, as the University of Michigan is extremely selective and the admissions process is very competitive. I think you have a good chance of getting into MSU, so I would also apply there and you can always transfer in, granted you do well your Freshman year of college.
high reach because of your SAT, look into MSU or CMU and then try to transfer
