University of Michigan EA class of 2020 thread

@amandasiegel1998 I think the emails will come around 3, but maybe wolverine access will be updated then?

Who is OOS here? I’m worried.

I’m OOS!!

@infiniteCircle I am! I’m from the Chicagoland area… Im hoping the fact that I can pay OOS tuition helps bump me up

As I said above, I received the email a little after 3 two years ago. There was no update on WA for a long time. So email comes first. I know everyone is tense right now (I know I was), but really just chill out (I know, easier said than done) and just wait for the email to come. There is nothing you can do now to change your results. So just bliss out for the next few hours (or days). As long as you applied EA, you will definitely get an email. So don’t freak out if you’re not in the first lot.

@Snpdrgn what college are you applying to?

OOS , Cali here!!

OOC Here. #Dubai

I’m OOS! From Florida. Hoping that by this time next year I’ll be living somewhere that isn’t 82 in December :,)

Here’s hoping Grandma’s legacy helps!!

@coffee18 me too, same region. I hope Illinois isn’t overrepresented in the application pool this year.

I’ve been following this thread for a while but haven’t ever posted… good luck everyone!

I’m out of country. Super nervous!

It’s scary to think that the fate of your college career could hinge on an arbitrary decision made by an admissions counselor. We’ll see I suppose.

@infiniteCircle LSA and pre admit to Ross for a double degree in bio + Econ/business

3 more hours to go…

Interesting @Snpdrgn. I’m hoping for admission to CoE. I hope being OOS isn’t a big factor in the decision making.

3 hours and 16 minutes until we DIE!!! Huehuehue. Anyone else watching Star Wars tomorrow?

@McKilla99 saw it yesterday. It was glorious.

Ok so here is the information I collected that I believe will clear it up for everyone.
After speaking with several admissions counselors and doing some extensive research to calm my nerves I made a collective conclusion that might ease your stress slightly.

  1. We know for sure we will have our decisions by the 24th but just because it was posted this day (friday the 18th) previously does NOT mean it will be posted today. This years EA pool is much larger so it honestly could be any day between now and the 24th.
  2. It APPEARS admission decisions are released any time between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM with deferrals released before the acceptions.
  3. As for rumored dates of admission decisions being released there is today, and according to few; this coming Tuesday. Of course since this is the largest application pool there is a high chance we could see our decisions released the 24th.
  4. On WolverineAccess your status will be available on the right of "view credentials" under your application status link. This new button will only be available if you are accepted or denied. If deferred, your decision will only be e-mailed to you.

Hope this helps and if you know of any ways to make the time pass please let me know!
